Job Overview:
Our client, a high-profile luxury catering company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an accomplished Chef de Cuisine to lead culinary operations for large-scale, high-end events. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring extensive culinary expertise, operational precision, and the ability to manage diverse teams while delivering exceptional quality and presentation at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality cuisine across VIP banquets, corporate events, and luxury functions
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in the kitchen, ensuring smooth execution, efficiency, and adherence to luxury service standards
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef and senior culinary leadership in menu planning, event-specific customisation, and production timelines
  • Maintain rigorous food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance across all kitchen activities
  • Train, coach, and supervise junior chefs and kitchen staff, promoting high performance and consistency
  • Ensure excellent flavour, texture, and presentation across all menu items, with an eye for detail and refinement
  • Monitor inventory, procurement, and kitchen resource management to support cost control and efficiency
  • Drive culinary innovation while preserving quality, consistency, and brand identity

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven background in leading kitchen operations within luxury catering, banqueting, or fine dining environments
  • Extensive expertise across a variety of international cuisines, with flexibility to adapt to client preferences and event concepts
  • Strong ability to manage large kitchen teams and high-volume production while maintaining refined quality
  • Culinary degree or formal training from a recognised institution preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
  • Experience working in the Gulf region or with VIP clientele is an advantage
