Job Overview:
Our client, a top-tier luxury catering company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly skilled Chef de Cuisine – Asian Specialty to lead and execute refined, authentic Asian cuisine for premium events and exclusive clientele. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Asian culinary traditions—ranging from East and Southeast Asia to the Indian subcontinent—and will be responsible for delivering elevated dishes that meet luxury standards across high-volume, high-profile functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Asian kitchen section, managing the preparation, production, and presentation of authentic dishes for a variety of high-end catering formats
  • Develop and execute well-balanced, creative menus across Asian cuisines (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Indian), tailored to client profiles and event themes
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all Asian specialty items, adhering to luxury service expectations
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the Asian kitchen team, maintaining a strong focus on skill development, efficiency, and discipline
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef and culinary leadership to integrate Asian offerings within broader menu concepts for large-scale events
  • Enforce food safety and hygiene standards in strict accordance with HACCP guidelines
  • Oversee procurement of specialised Asian ingredients, manage inventory, and support cost control within the Asian kitchen section
  • Remain current with trends and modern techniques in Asian gastronomy, incorporating innovation where appropriate

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven culinary experience with a dedicated focus on Asian cuisine, including in a leadership or chef de cuisine role
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience across multiple Asian culinary traditions
  • Background in luxury catering, banqueting, or fine dining environments with high production volume
  • Strong leadership, kitchen management, and communication skills
  • Formal culinary training or degree preferred
  • Experience with Gulf clientele or prior work in the Middle East is advantageous
