Position Overview:

The Associate in Food & Beverage Service is responsible for assisting in the cleaning, sanitizing, and organization of the kitchen, dining, and service areas of the hotel. This role supports the restaurant and kitchen teams by ensuring that all dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained. The Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitization: Ensure that all  cutlery, glassware, and dishware are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas, including the kitchen, dining rooms, and storage areas.

  • Maintaining Cleanliness in Service Areas: Keep all food and beverage service areas, including buffets, dining tables, and trays, clean and organized, ensuring that service is not interrupted by dirty or unkempt areas.

  • Waste Management: Ensure that trash and waste are disposed of properly in accordance with the hotel’s policies, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of food preparation and service.

  • Assist in Buffet Setup and Service: Help with setting up and breaking down buffet stations, replenishing food items during service, and assisting guests if required.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring that cleaning materials are used correctly and in a safe manner, and following all sanitation protocols as set by the hotel and regulatory bodies.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment used in the cleaning and food service areas is in good condition and report any faults to the supervisor for repairs.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth and efficient operations. Assist in supporting team members during peak service periods.

  • Assist in Event Functions: Help set up and clean up for  within the Restaurant. Ensure that all necessary equipment and utensils are available and maintained.

  • Guest Service Support: Provide a high level of service to guests by ensuring that the dining area is clean, presentable, and ready for guest service at all times.
