Job Summary:
 An Architect is responsible for contributing to the design and planning of new hotel properties or renovations of existing ones. This role involves collaborating with senior architects, interior designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable architectural solutions that meet the specific needs of the hospitality industry. The Architect will play a key role in producing architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the project from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Development
    • Assist in developing design concepts for new hotel properties or renovations, ensuring the design aligns with the hotel’s brand and operational goals.
    • Produce detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings, ensuring all designs are well-articulated and in line with the project’s objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior architects and design teams to refine concepts and finalize designs that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
  2. Planning and Project Coordination
    • Coordinate with interior designers, landscape architects, and engineers to integrate all design elements.
    • Ensure the architectural design aligns with site conditions, zoning requirements, and regulatory codes.
    • Contribute to the preparation of design presentations for stakeholders, including hotel owners, developers, and management teams.
  3. Construction Documentation
    • Assist in the preparation of construction documentation, including architectural specifications and detailed drawings.
    • Provide support during the construction phase by addressing design-related questions, reviewing contractor submittals, and ensuring that the work is completed according to design plans.
    • Collaborate with contractors to resolve any design-related issues that arise during construction.
  4. Site Visits and Construction Support
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess construction quality, and verify that the design is being followed correctly.
    • Assist with quality control by ensuring that the construction aligns with the architectural vision and meets the specified standards.
    • Assist in resolving on-site construction issues, collaborating with the project manager, contractors, and consultants to find solutions.
