ROLE PURPOSE<\/b> <\/div>
The Sushi Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting sushi and related Japanese -inspired products with precision, consistency and adherence to food safety standards. The role ensures high product quality during peak seasonal periods. <\/div>
<\/p>
<\/p>
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b> <\/div>
• Prepare sushi, maki, nigiri and related products in line with quality and presentation standards. <\/div>
• Maintain mise -en -place for sushi station including fish processing, rice preparation and garnish. <\/div>
• Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of fish and perishable ingredients. <\/div>
• Maintain HACCP compliance, hygiene and food safety regulations at all times. <\/div>
• Monitor freshness, temperature, cutting techniques and portion control. <\/div>
• Replenish sushi items during service and manage guest -facing stations when required. <\/div>
• Collaborate with Sous Chefs and other kitchen sections during production peaks. <\/div>
• Report shortages, equipment issues and product deviations. <\/div>
• Contribute to menu evolution and seasonal items when applicable. <\/div>

REQUIREMENTS<\/b> <\/div>
• Proven experience as Sushi Chef or similar role in hotel, resort or restaurant. <\/div>
• Precision, knife skills and product knowledge related to sushi preparation. <\/div>
• Experience in high -volume or seasonal operations is valued. <\/div>
• Positive, organized and disciplined work approach. <\/div>
• English required (intermediate). Spanish valued. <\/div>
• Legal right to work in the EU or valid permit for Spain. <\/div>
