Job Overview:
Our client, a leading luxury catering company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Subsidiary Chef de Cuisine to oversee the operations of a specialised kitchen within a large-scale, high-end culinary setup. This role is ideal for a culinary professional with extensive hands-on experience, strong team leadership capabilities, and a refined understanding of luxury standards in large-volume catering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a subsidiary kitchen section, ensuring high-quality food production and consistent presentation across assigned menus and event formats
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and main kitchen leadership to align production timelines and culinary direction
  • Oversee a focused team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring performance, discipline, and attention to detail
  • Contribute to menu refinement and execution for specialised offerings, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand identity
  • Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP protocols
  • Manage stock levels, ingredient sourcing, and cost control within the subsidiary kitchen
  • Ensure smooth coordination and integration of the subsidiary kitchen’s output with larger event catering logistics
  • Uphold exceptional standards in flavour, appearance, and consistency, especially during high-pressure, large-volume service

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior culinary position, ideally within large-scale catering, high-end banqueting, or luxury hospitality
  • Extensive expertise in managing a specific cuisine or kitchen division as part of a broader culinary operation
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of kitchen logistics, cost control, and team coordination in high-volume environments
  • Formal culinary education or equivalent training preferred
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Experience working with VIP clientele or within the Gulf region is an advantage
