Sr. Manager - Sales, F&N
Purpose of Job
Independently develops and
manages the sale of bakery & confectionary ingredients in the Food segment
within the business unit in East region.
Main tasks and
responsibilities
- Deliver the sales budget numbers for the assigned segments.
- Manage the supplier and customer relations for the product lines handled.
- Regular follow-up for orders and receivables with all the customers.
- Prospecting of new customer.
- Regular market analysis to assess the demand, prices for specific products. Regularly meeting the key customers and suppliers.
- Map the market and competition on a regular basis
- Participate in sales budgeting and reporting.
Key Attributes
- Proven track record in sales of Food items with a techno-commercial acumen
- Ability to perform Market Analysis and Competitor Analysis comfortably
- Develop new business through consumer research & product development
- Conversant with principles of Strategic Planning and Category Management
- Manage Key Accounts and drive sales
- Team player with sound verbal/ written communication skills and a customer centric mindset
- Ambitious, self-motivated, results driven and well-organized individual seeking a long-term association with the organization

- External: Customers, Principals, Suppliers
- Internal: Customer Service Representative, Warehouse Team, Sampling Team, Sales Team, Accounts Receivable team

- Role Reports to: Category Head – Bakery & Confectionary

Essential Qualifications
- Full time graduate degree in Food Technology
- MBA in Sales & Marketing
- Working knowledge of sales related CRM tools
- Conversant with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Essential Experience
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience
