Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join a culinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in upscale or fine-dining kitchens, a deep understanding of food preparation and kitchen management, and the ability to lead and inspire junior kitchen staff. The Sous Chef will play a key role in maintaining quality, consistency, and creativity in every dish we serve.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, hygiene, and staff supervision

  • Oversee daily kitchen activities and ensure high standards of food quality and presentation

  • Monitor kitchen staff performance, support training and development, and enforce discipline when needed

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations

  • Contribute to menu planning, new dish development, and seasonal updates

  • Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies and managing costs

  • Supervise food preparation during peak hours and ensure all dishes meet presentation and quality standards

  • Lead by example in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

✅ Requirements:

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1–2 years in a Sous Chef or similar leadership role

  • Experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or luxury hotels is highly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern cooking techniques

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks

  • Culinary degree or relevant professional certification is a plus

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
