We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join a culinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in upscale or fine-dining kitchens, a deep understanding of food preparation and kitchen management, and the ability to lead and inspire junior kitchen staff. The Sous Chef will play a key role in maintaining quality, consistency, and creativity in every dish we serve.
Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, hygiene, and staff supervision
Oversee daily kitchen activities and ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
Monitor kitchen staff performance, support training and development, and enforce discipline when needed
Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations
Contribute to menu planning, new dish development, and seasonal updates
Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies and managing costs
Supervise food preparation during peak hours and ensure all dishes meet presentation and quality standards
Lead by example in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1–2 years in a Sous Chef or similar leadership role
Experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or luxury hotels is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern cooking techniques
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks
Culinary degree or relevant professional certification is a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
