The Role:
Reporting to the Venue Manager and Precinct Sommelier, we are seeking a Sommelier to assist with the smooth running of daily beverage operations at one of Sydney's most beautiful venues. Working with an all-Australian wine list, your role will be service focused providing exceptional customer service to all guests. It will also include assistance with stock control and team trainings, with the opportunity to share your passion of Australia's wine scene. Starting as a casual position, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person.
Desirable Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hatted venue or similar
- High attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and resolve problems efficiently
- Knowledge of Australian wine & spirits
