The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems within the hotel premises. This includes water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related equipment. The role ensures all plumbing work meets safety, health, and hotel standards to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and other plumbing equipment throughout the hotel.
Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems to identify leaks, clogs, and other malfunctions.
Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems as per the hotel’s maintenance schedule.
Repair and replace defective parts such as faucets, valves, pumps, and water heaters.
Ensure that all plumbing installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance requests related to plumbing.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff (electrical, HVAC, etc.) to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Maintain an inventory of plumbing tools, materials, and spare parts.
Record and report all maintenance activities in the maintenance log system.
Support emergency repairs during off-hours as required.
Assist in energy and water conservation initiatives implemented by the hotel.
