Supervise and assign tasks to engineering team members, ensuring timely and efficient completion of maintenance jobs.
Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities including guest rooms, public areas, back of house, kitchens, and mechanical rooms.
Maintain all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for all machinery, equipment, and hotel infrastructure.
Handle guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Ensure proper inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.
Maintain safety standards and ensure all engineering team members comply with hotel safety policies.
Assist the Chief Engineer in planning and execution of renovation or repair projects.
Prepare daily maintenance reports and update records in the maintenance management system.
Provide training and mentoring to junior technicians and new hires.
Respond promptly to emergencies such as power failures, plumbing issues, or equipment breakdowns.
