Job Summary:
 The Interior Execution Engineer is responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of interior design projects within a hotel property. This role involves managing the on-site construction and installation processes, ensuring that the interior design is implemented accurately, efficiently, and within budget. The Interior Execution Engineer works closely with architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate and execute the design vision while ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execution of Interior Design Plans
    • Coordinate and supervise the on-site execution of interior design concepts for hotel spaces.
    • Ensure the interior design vision is followed during construction and installation, adhering to the project’s specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
    • Oversee the installation of furniture, fixtures, finishes (FF&E), and other interior elements, ensuring they meet the designer’s vision and functional requirements.
  2. Project Coordination and Site Management
    • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and contractors to ensure the seamless execution of design plans.
    • Monitor day-to-day activities on the construction site, providing direction and support to contractors and installation teams.
    • Ensure that all materials, products, and finishes are available on-site in a timely manner, and manage the logistics of material deliveries.
  3. Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure the quality and craftsmanship of all installations meet the highest standards and are in line with the design requirements.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is being carried out according to the approved design and specifications.
    • Identify and resolve any issues related to design execution, material defects, or construction delays, and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  4. Budget and Cost Management
    • Monitor the project budget to ensure that costs remain within the allocated amount for interior execution.
    • Assist in cost estimation, procurement, and sourcing of materials, finishes, and products, ensuring that quality is maintained without exceeding budget constraints.
    • Track material and labour costs, providing updates to the project manager and senior design team.
  5. Scheduling and Timelines
    • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring that all interior execution tasks are completed on schedule.
    • Coordinate with other project teams to ensure that interior works are integrated into the broader construction schedule without delays.
    • Address any issues that arise on-site that may affect timelines, implementing solutions to avoid project delays.
  6. Client and Stakeholder Communication
    • Serve as the main point of contact between the design team, contractors, and hotel management during the execution phase of the project.
    • Provide regular updates on the status of the project, including progress reports, challenges, and resolutions.
    • Ensure that all project stakeholders are aligned on expectations and deliverables.
  7. Problem Solving and Issue Resolution
    • Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the interior execution phase, whether they are related to design discrepancies, material shortages, or unforeseen construction challenges.
    • Work with the design team, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues quickly and efficiently to avoid delays or quality issues.
