About the Opportunity
We’re searching for a hands-on, service-driven Head Chef to lead a talented brigade in a premium, French-inspired venue in Melbourne.

The venue operates across multiple service periods and maintains a reputation for excellence, high standards and genuine hospitality. You’ll be joining a supportive senior team who are invested in empowering the right chef to lead with confidence and vision.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Leading and developing a large, diverse kitchen team
  • Running high-quality services with pace, precision and presence
  • Delivering consistent execution of signature dishes while elevating seasonal menu items
  • Driving kitchen culture built on respect, professionalism and training
  • Overseeing stock control, cost management, compliance and ordering
  • Working closely with senior leadership on menu development and operational planning
  • Maintaining standards that align with a premium guest experience
What We’re Looking For
  • A Head Chef with demonstrated experience in premium, high-volume or French-inspired venues
  • Calm, hands-on leadership with strong communication and mentoring skills
  • A disciplined approach to systems, costing and operational structure
  • Ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness
  • Confidence leading larger brigades (20+ chefs)
  • Someone who thrives in service and leads from the front
  • A chef who takes pride in consistency, detail and team development
