About the opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Head Chef to be an integral part of our Leadership Team to lead and support our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in planning, running and maintaining all aspects of the back of house commercial operations specifically:
Providing leadership and support within the business.Continually developing menu items aligned with the Southern style cuisine to the highest standard and continue to nurture our reputation as a world renowned BBQ brand.Leading diverse food operations from retail, catering, events, take away and a high-volume kitchen.Driving the planning, running and delivery of day to day activities of the back of house operations including budgets, purchasing and stock management. Working within diverse operational systems and providing insight and accountability to financial and operational outcomes. Supporting recruitment (alongside our in-house P&C), training and supervision of team members and development of high functioning, diverse kitchen teams.Supporting the development and implementation of business strategic plans.Contributing innovative ideas and solutions as part of the Leadership Team.About You:
You have at least 5 years leading fast paced, high volume kitchens.You have qualifications that reflect your passion and excellence in the areas above.You understand the meaning and importance of emotional intelligence and leading with integrity and know how to develop these in others. You have proven experience in developing processes that create improvements.You are continually striving for excellence, developing and perfectingKnowledge or experience working with Southern style cuisine is a bonus!What we offer you:
