As a Fine Dining Bartender, you will be responsible for creating unique experiences for customers by preparing a diverse range of high-quality cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages. Duties will include greeting customers, recommending menu items, and preparing and serving beverages.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate about the beverage industry and have an understanding of craft cocktails. Craft cocktail experience is preferred. Must practice safe and responsible alcohol service.
Responsibilities
· Interact with customers, make drink recommendations, and take food/drink orders.
· Inform customers about new beverages and specials.
· Prepare beverages, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers.
· Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
· Comply with all food safety and quality regulations.
· Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and balancing the cash register.
· Restock bar as needed.
· Maintaining a clean, well-organized bar and lounge area.
· Stay up to date on new menu items.
· Complete end of the night closing duties.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. (Shifts can vary up to 10 hours or double shift)
· Push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds to shoulder height.
Qualifications
· 18 years of age or older
· Basic math and computer skills
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and knowledge of a wide range of beverages
· Craft cocktail experience preferred
