Executive Pastry Chef – Food & Beverage Consultancy | Cape Town
Salary: R50,000

A food and beverage consultancy in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef with a strong background in high-end restaurants. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional pastry creations across multiple projects, including travel-based assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute high-quality pastry menus for luxury restaurants and projects.

  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation, taste, and consistency.

  • Oversee pastry operations, including planning, preparation, and production.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all work areas.

  • Collaborate with chefs, management, and teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control for pastry ingredients.

  • Travel as required to support consultancy projects and client locations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef in super high-end restaurants.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Exceptional creativity, precision, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to travel as required.
