Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Assistant Manager Food & Beverage (EAM F&B) to join our luxury resort in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the EAM F&B, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and elevating our diverse F&B operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our esteemed guests.

  • Lead and inspire a team of F&B professionals across multiple outlets, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance F&B offerings, increase revenue, and improve guest satisfaction
  • Oversee menu planning, pricing strategies, and food presentation standards across all F&B outlets
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise profitability whilst maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create unique dining concepts and seasonal promotions
  • Analyse market trends and guest feedback to continuously improve F&B services and offerings
  • Cultivate relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality, sustainable ingredients
  • Participate in senior management meetings and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the resort

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in F&B management roles within luxury hotels or resorts
  • Proven track record in successfully managing multiple F&B outlets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit optimisation
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, with a passion for culinary excellence
  • Experience in menu planning, development, and innovative concept creation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisive actions
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems
  • Current Food Safety Certification
  • Understanding of Vietnamese cuisine and local food culture is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other Asian languages is an advantage
