Director of RoomsAmanyangyun

Role

Amanyangyun is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms to join our team in Shanghai, China. You will lead and oversee Rooms operations, developing strategies and overseeing their execution; ensure exceptional guest experience, oversee budgets, and maintain stakeholder relationships; serve as a member of the executive committee, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and directs all aspects of Rooms operation including Front office, Butler, Housekeeping.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan, Marketing Plan, Budget and Goals Programmer to ensure on an on-going basis optimum guest satisfaction, sales potential and profitability.

  • Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Will resolve complaints in person, by phone or through written message. Develops relationships with return guests, group contacts and other guests in order to provide personalized service. Ensure highest level of guest satisfaction by providing within corporate standards quality guest services and amenities.

  • Manages the functions of all hotel personnel through supervision of hotel department heads.

  • Establishes and maintains effective internal communication and meetings structures to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or equivalent.

  • 3 years of similar experience in a luxury hospitality enviroment.

  • Fluency in Mandarin & English is a must.

  • Work authorization in China is a must.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries or concerns with tact and efficiency.

  • A high energy level and a passion for achieving results.

  • Strong Leadership skills in managing teams to drive for results.

  • Ability to manage complex relationships.
