DescriptionRole Purpose
The Sr./ Specialist, Pricing and Revenue Optimization, is an essential part of the global Commercial Services team. You will be responsible for managing pricing infrastructures, embedding best practices for revenue management systems and tools, enabling revenue management products, and deriving data-driven insights to help guide revenue practices for all hotels in Greater China. This is a highly collaborative role interacting with both global and regional teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Own pricing infrastructures (e.g. rate card, rate structures, rate guidance)
- Share and embed best practices for Revenue Management systems and tools across the region in partnership with Regional Revenue Management teams
- Collate and channel feedback about Revenue Management systems and tools, and of Pricing and Inventory needs from the region
- Support enablement of campaigns and initiatives into the region
- Support enablement and optimization of revenue management products
- Ensure Global inventory standards by brand are relevant in market and optimised to drive optimal revenue performance
- Support analysis of initiatives at various levels and help derive strategic and actionable insights that drive commercial performance in the region
Key Skills & Experiences
Required Skills –
- Strong aptitude for collaboration in cross-functional environments, and building consensus with stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and draw conclusions from complex datasets
- Advanced use of Excel, Databases, PivotTable, PowerPoint preferred
- Good at both oral & written English
Qualifications –
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Experience –
- 1-3 years plus in Revenue Management, Pricing or Commercial in hotels/hotel management company
- Knowledge of key metrics and analytics that drive Revenue Performance
- Knowledge of Pricing, Revenue Management, Yield Management
- Knowledge of Guest Reservation System (GRS), Property Management System (PMS), Revenue Management System (RMS) preferred
