Cooking various dishes using methods like grilling, baking, frying, boiling, and steaming.
Quality and standards:
Ensuring all food is prepared to company standards, with correct portions and consistent quality.
Arranging and garnishing food for presentation.
Adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
Handling and storing ingredients and food properly to prevent spoilage.
Kitchen management:
Monitoring inventory levels and communicating shortages.
Restocking stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, including cleaning equipment and utensils.
Teamwork and communication:
Collaborating with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Assisting other cooks and staff as needed.
