OBJECTIVE / SUMMARY

Responsible for the assisting KST Manager in efficient running of the Kitchen Stewarding and maintenance, cleanliness and sanitization of all food and beverage outlets, kitchen, dinnerware, and food and beverage equipment. 

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Organizes the sufficient supplies of dishware, glassware and pots and pans for food and beverage service.

 

  • Organize supply rack, including pots, pans, serving spoons, utensils, etc.

 

  • Rotate stock, bringing wares from storage bin or areas into kitchen.

 

  • Complete cleaning checklists to determine appropriate timelines for cleaning and sanitizing.

 

  • Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards.

 

  • Clean and maintain sanitation areas and organize cleaning supplies including hanging up mops and brooms.

 

  • Clean ceiling, walls, and vents in dish room.

 

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager

 

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.

 

  • Cleanliness of kitchen and cafeteria areas as per mandatory guidelines.

  

  • Keeps KST Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

 

  • To ensure cleaning / washing of all fixed equipment in the kitchen including hoods, filters etc. To endure polishing of items like glassware, china, silverware and utensils vim, liquid detergent, caustic soda, etc. as per cleaning instructions for each item.

 

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot- scrubbing station, and trash compactor.

 

 

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

 

  • To ensure cleaning material is brought to the stewarding area, operating and maintenance of different machines in a clean condition.

 

  • To ensure removal of leftover food from the dished and disposed in garbage cans. 

 

  • To ensure removal of the garbage cans to the garbage room or a pre-defined garbage area and screen them out to take material like glassware, silverware, china and other items out of it

 

  • Helps in conducting inventory and manages all equipment, china, glass and silver and ensures adequate clean supplies of each

 

  • In addition to the above mentioned responsibilities, any other task assigned by KST Manager or his nominee from time to time as per the operational requirements.
