We are looking for an experienced full time Sous Chef at L’Americano Cafe/espresso bar in Karrinyup. Be part of a close knit team to lead the development of a vibrant food and beverage business.  This Cafe combines Coco Republic’s signature American design aesthetic with an Italian heritage. We will be open 7 days a week and will offer an Italian influenced breakfast and lunch menu as well as also holding occasional functions.

The cafe is open from 9am to 4pm.

About The Role

  • Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure efficient food production and quality control
  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation and quality
  • Run your own section in a high-quality cafe environment
  • Follow standardised recipes accurately and consistently
  • Permanent full-time position
  • $78k plus super

About You

  • Certificate 3 in commercial Cookery
  • 2 years’ experience working in a busy high-quality cafe
  • A genuine passion for food and a strong work ethic
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Access to reliable personal transport and a valid driver’s licence is preferred for commutes

L’Americano Espresso Bar

L’Americano Espresso bar and dining is a premium coffee and food establishment situated onsite as part of the stunning Coco Republic showroom which specialises in high end furniture and design services. L'Americano is a destination point providing quality fine food, offering a breakfast and lunch menu with a focus on simple Italian style food.
