As Sous Chef, you’ll support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dishes, leading the pass, and keeping standards high across every section. From driving consistency in service to inspiring and developing junior chefs, you’ll play a key role in shaping the kitchen culture and guest experience. With vibrant weekends, cosy weekday dining, and a supportive brigade, it’s the perfect place to grow your culinary craft and step confidently into senior kitchen leadership.

Key Responsibilities 

Support the Head Chef in running all day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food, smooth service, and consistent standards.

Work closely with the FOH, Bar & Sales teams to ensure a top-notch customer journey from start to finish

Lead food preparation, oversee pass and be able to step into any section as needed to maintain an efficient service.

Maintain strong product and supplier knowledge, assisting with ordering, stock control, and achieving agreed food cost targets.

 Supervise, train, and motivate the kitchen team, supporting onboarding, development plans, and high standards of behaviour and performance.

Ensure all work areas, storage, and equipment are clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and HACCP requirements.

Collaborate with the Head Chef and GM to drive team culture, support communication, and deliver on operational and financial goals.

Uphold company policies, food safety, fire safety, and health & safety procedures, identifying and addressing hazards promptly.

Contribute to menu development, team meetings, and continuous improvement, ensuring kitchen standards and guest expectations are consistently exceeded.
