Responsibilities- Assist in meal preparation and cooking, adhering to menu specifications and quality standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
- Manage food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies, while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and develop new menu items, emphasizing seasonal and local ingredients.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring dishes are served at the correct temperature and portion sizes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among kitchen staff, promoting effective teamwork.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling and staff management, as directed by the Head Chef.
Qualifications- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen environment is required.
