We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our small team at Rose Bakery. Energy, adaptability along with a great attitude are also key for this role.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and inspire a kitchen team, creating a supportive, high-performance culture
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring excellence in quality, consistency, and food presentation
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop seasonal, creative menus that reflect our culinary ethos
  • Maintain exceptional food hygiene and safety standards across the kitchen
  • Skilled in managing BOH rota’s with the guidance of Head Chef
  • Manage food ordering, and stock control efficiently and sustainably
  • Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs, fostering growth and creativity
  • Work closely with the General Manager and FOH team to ensure a seamless, memorable guest experience


Skills Required


  • Minimum 3 year kitchen experience required
  • Food Hygiene & Safety Level 2 is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Brings creativity, curiosity, and a genuine love for fresh, seasonal cooking
  • Flexible attitude and ability to manage a varied workload
  • Ability to work independently and to be self motivated
