Your key responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and driven Sous Chef to join our exceptional kitchen team, working alongside renowned chefs Adam Byatt and Ross Sneddon. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a kitchen known for its creativity, precision, and dedication to excellence.

As Sous Chef, you will play a vital leadership role—supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations, managing and inspiring the brigade, and helping to deliver outstanding dishes that exceed guest expectations. Your experience, passion, and attention to detail will be key to maintaining the high standards we are known for.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Lead an outstanding team by setting high standards, provide guidance and development opportunities in order to achieve consistently high levels of service
• Ensure the department consistently delivers service standards
• Take ownership and responsibility for team results and day-to-day operations
• Support the Executive Chef and Head Chef in driving for performance and business results
• Seek opportunities to learn and to develop others
• Be knowledgeable of our markets, competitors and business model
• Provide input into workforce planning and recruitment activities
