We are in search of a Sommelier/Beverage Manager for our clubhouse, where fun, family, and friendliness are at the heart of our culture. In this role, you will lead and elevate our beverage program by overseeing wine selection, purchasing, inventory, and staff education while creating memorable and engaging experiences for our members and their guests in a welcoming, community driven environment.
Job duties of the Sommelier/Beverage Manager include but not limited to:
- Leading and mentoring the beverage and service team to deliver exceptional hospitality and memorable wine-forward experiences.
- Curating and maintaining thoughtful wine lists, wine-by-the-glass offerings, and signature cocktail menus that reflect quality, creativity, and member preferences.
- Overseeing beverage purchasing, inventory control, and cost management to ensure consistency and program excellence.
- Planning and hosting wine tastings, pairing dinners, and beverage-focused events that engage our membership and strengthen community.
- Collaborating with culinary and operations leadership to create cohesive food and beverage pairings and seasonal offerings.
- Developing strategies to enhance member and guest engagement through education, storytelling, and personalized recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and responsible service standards while maintaining a fun, welcoming environment.
- Coordinating with the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Membership, Director of Marketing and Communications, Catering & Events Manager, and Executive Chef on all clubhouse dining promotions and club events.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Level 1 wine certification(s) preferred (CMS or WSET).
- Proven experience in clubhouse, restaurant, or hospitality setting with at least two years of leadership experience in a similar or high-end hospitality environment.
- In depth knowledge of wine and beverage services and offerings.
- Ability to maintain and build upon a first-class wine program.
- Experience coordinating and facilitating wine/liquor dinners.
- Polished interpersonal skills and managing capabilities.
- Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Maricopa County food handler’s card required.
- First Aid and CPR certified preferred.
