What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods

  • Follow recipes and plating guidelines provided by the Head Pastry Chef

  • Ensure proper mise en place for each service period

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station at all times

  • Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in accordance with HACCP

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

  • Flexibly incorporate Japanese ingredients or elements into pastry creations as needed

  • Receive and properly store deliveries; monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages

  • Confirm shortages with head pastry chef and proceed with ordering

  • Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills

  • Maintain personal grooming and cleanliness standards

What You Will Bring:

  • minimum 3 years of experience in pastry or bakery in a kitchen

  • Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients

  • Strong willingness to learn and take direction

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Creativity and interest in incorporating Japanese ingredients or influences

  • Attention to detail and consistency

  • Culinary education or pastry training is a plus
