Role Summary:
We’re on the hunt for a talented Senior Pastry Chef with a serious passion for laminated dough and pastry perfection. You’ll take the lead on all things pastry. You’ll have the freedom to bring your ideas to life and play a key role in shaping our pastry menu.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily production of our pastries
• Ensure consistent quality, flavour, and presentation across all pastry items
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new products and seasonal specials
• Oversee stock levels and ordering for pastry ingredients
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness, following food safety standards
• Support and train junior kitchen staff when needed
• Alongside the Head Chef, train employees on correct food handling practices
• Conduct regular taste and presentation checks to ensure dishes meet our standards
Specifications/Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Senior Pastry Chef
• Skilled in croissant and laminated dough production (this is essential!)
• Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-driven
• Calm under pressure and a great team player
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent knowledge of local health, safety and food hygiene regulations
