Job Summary:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team to ensure the safety and protection of all personnel, guests, assets, and premises. This role involves coordinating security personnel, enforcing company policies, responding to incidents, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of security staff.
  • Assign duties and schedules to security guards and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of premises.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols, procedures, and regulations.
  • Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of incidents, reports, and daily activity logs.
  • Liaise with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.
  • Train and mentor new security staff.
  • Evaluate performance and provide feedback to team members.
  • Maintain discipline and handle grievances among security personnel.
  • Ensure all security equipment is maintained and operational.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and emergency responses.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using surveillance and monitoring systems.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Physical fitness and alertness.


Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in criminal justice or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or relevant security training preferred.
