About the role:
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Direct Reports: Assistant Restaurant Manager, Front & Back of House Team
The Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily operations of the cafe ensuring exceptional service, product quality, operational efficiency, and a luxurious guest experience aligned with the brand’s premium standards. The role combines team leadership, financial and inventory control, guest relations, and execution of high-level service standards in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of FOH and BOH, maintaining brand standards in service, food, cleanliness, and safety.
- Supervise staff schedules, shift planning, and adherence to labor budgets.
- Lead pre-shift briefings and ensure team preparedness and motivation.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest is welcomed and served in line with brands luxury service expectations.
- Monitor dining room ambiance (music, lighting, temperature) and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
Financial Management
- Monitor and control operating costs, waste, and labor to maintain profitability.
- Manage daily cash handling, sales reporting, inventory counts, and ordering processes.
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting alongside the Operations Manager.
Team Management & Training
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate team members to deliver consistent service excellence.
- Conduct employee reviews, manage performance, and maintain up-to-date HR files.
- Support career development and succession planning in collaboration with HR.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with Saudi health, hygiene, and safety standards and HACCP requirements.
- Implement and maintain SOPs across all areas of the restaurant.
- Coordinate with maintenance to address equipment or facility issues swiftly.
Brand & Business Development
- Uphold the brand identity and act as an ambassador for the company.
- Stay informed on competitor activity and local dining trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Liaise with Marketing on local promotions, events, and community engagement.
Requirements

Experience: 5–8 years in upscale restaurant or hotel management

Education: High school diploma minimum; hospitality/management degree preferred

Language: Fluent in Arabic or English (both preferred)
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team motivation
- Guest-focused with excellent service standards
- Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, and inventory control
- Food safety and hygiene knowledge (HACCP certification preferred)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Adaptable, hands-on, and solutions-oriented
Benefits:
● All inclusive salary 14000 Saudi Rial per month not negotiable ($3732) this includes basic salary and allowances for housing, phone, transport
● Flights/travel, health insurance, meals on duty and paid annual vacation provided by the company.
● Furnished apartment provided by the company for the first 3 months only. This is to allow you time to settle in and find your own accommodation. After 3 months you will be responsible for your own housing.
