Job Description:

As the Restaurant Manager at the Tasting Room, you will oversee all aspects of dining operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and hospitality. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that complement our world-class wines. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.

- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a high level of service excellence and guest satisfaction.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized environment throughout the restaurant.

- Oversee menu development, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize profitability and meet financial targets.

- Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff members.

- Monitor dining room activity, guest feedback, and service flow to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and community partners to enhance the restaurant's reputation and drive business growth.

- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and front-of-house operations, maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation.

- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and customer preferences, adapting strategies to meet changing demands and maintain a competitive edge.

 

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual setting.

- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of hospitality professionals.

- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and staff at all levels.

- Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering consistently high-quality service.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
