We are seeking a full time, salaried Restaurant Manager to join our Food and Beverage team at Seven Springs Golf and Country Club.  This position will come with a full benefits package to include Medical, Dental and Vision coverage as well as Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.  Please see a general job description below and should you feel your knowledge, education and experience could be a match, apply today! 

Salary: $55K to $60K Annually

Job Description:

Develops implements and maintains quality standards for restaurant facility, including supervision and direction of service staff.  Ensures excellent customer service standards are maintained.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the company’s fiscal and operational guidelines.
  • Work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that are flavorful and popular with customers. Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
  • Supervise operation of bar to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability, and conform to alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Oversees daily restaurant activities to include: serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, room service and general clerical/cashier duties.
  • Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions.
  • Maintains professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
  • Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Review and monitor, with bookkeeper or other financial personnel, expenditures to ensure that they conform to budget limitations. Work to improve performance.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Degree/Licenses:

Bachelors of Science and or 4 year degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternate.

Physical Demands:

Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products.  Occasionally lifts up to 45 pounds. Works with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment.
