The Yiros Shop has quickly become one of Queensland’s most favourite fast-food Restaurants serving traditional Greek Yiros filled with delicious tastes and flavours, snack-boxes, salads and delicious Greek desserts. Our stores have a fun, chilled out atmosphere for our customers and cater for 50/50 eat-in and takeaway.

The Yiros Shop currently has several locations stretching across Brisbane, Moreton Bay region and the Gold Coast region.

Are you a natural leader with a passion for great food and great teamwork? The Yiros Shop is on the hunt for a Restaurant Manager - Northlakes to lead the team to success!

Job Description

You will be required to work Monday to Sunday on a set roster and will enjoy 2 weekly RDO's that is negotiated upon your start of employment. 

Salary: $70k to $75k  (Pending on experience) + Super + monthly KPI commission bonus.

The Job involves:

  • Opening and closing the store

  • Supervising and management employees including juniors

  • Training and Development of all staff to achieve outstanding results

  • Conducting performance evaluations

  • Trialing and training new employees

  • Monitoring store performance and meeting KPI's

  • Rostering, inventory, ordering and reporting

  • Handling customer complaints and concerns

  • Food Preparation including deep fryer/grill use

  • Cash handling and register operation

  • Cleaning and maintaining the store

Qualifications

The right candidate must have:

  • Strong and demonstrated management experience

  • Strong leadership skills; motivating and leading a young team, setting goals and ensuring they are achieved

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Understanding and ability to enforce food safety regulations

  • Strong time management skills

  • Flexibility and able to adapt to change

  • Attention to detail to ensure the store is clean and in good running order

  • Training and development experience

  • Motivation to keep your team motivated and on task

  • Ability to work as a team with a friendly attitude and a genuine passion for the fast food industry
