We are hiring a dynamic and service-driven Restaurant Manager for a high-volume, casual Italian restaurant located in Wading River. This beloved local establishment is known for its warm hospitality, classic Italian fare, and lively family-friendly atmosphere. Were looking for a hands-on leader with a strong floor presence who can inspire teams, enhance guest experience, and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent execution
  • Lead and develop FOH staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to uphold food quality and timely service standards
  • Maintain labor, inventory, and cost controls in alignment with budget goals
  • Handle scheduling, training, and staff performance management
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Support private dining and special events in coordination with the events team
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction and loyalty

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience, ideally in an Italian or casual dining setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proven ability to manage costs, scheduling, and inventory systems
  • Ability to lead from the floor and maintain a consistent guest-first approach
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for hospitality and a genuine commitment to creating memorable guest experiences
