Our client, a Restaurant, situated near Wolseley, is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager who is organised, guest orientated and is able to run and oversee all areas of operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant, farmstall and accommodation operation.
- Budget management, cost control, develop and implement revenue increasing initiatives.
- Staff management – hiring, training, performance evaluations.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies (WCLA, Health and Safety etc)
- Stock control and general administration
- Management of GAAP Point of Sale system and ensure correct pricing.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash ups + stock takes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- At least 5 years restaurant, kitchen or events management experience
- Familiarity with GAAP restaurant management software, including MS Office
- Tertiary qualification in food and beverage / hospitality management
- Own reliable transport
