Restaurant Manager (General Manager at Wurstküche)

Wurstküche is seeking a driven and experienced General Manager to lead our flagship location. Known for our iconic sausages, curated beer selection, and lively beer hall atmosphere, we’re looking for a leader who is passionate about hospitality, operations, and culture.


Position Summary:

As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations and long-term strategy for the restaurant. This role requires strong leadership, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to cultivate an energized, high-performing team while delivering an exceptional guest experience that reflects the Wurstküche brand.



Requirements

Leadership & Culture

Train, develop, and mentor the management team and staff.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Lead all hiring, onboarding, HR administration, and staff development.

Administer payroll, corrective actions, evaluations, and promotions.

Operations & Guest Experience

Be a constant presence on the floor—observe, support, and adjust to maintain a vibrant and welcoming environment.

Ensure all restaurant operations, cleanliness, and equipment functionality meet company standards.

Enforce and uphold all policies and procedures in the Ops Manual and EH.

Monitor and respond to guest feedback to maintain top-tier satisfaction.

Financial & Strategic Oversight

Own and optimize financial performance including COGS, labor, and P&L.

Conduct regular audits (charts, bank, discounts, voids, etc.).

Manage inventory, forecasting, and budgeting.

Execute all corporate initiatives, policy updates, and menu changes.

Community & Brand Engagement

Represent Wurstküche in special events, PR, donations, and community outreach.

Uphold and enhance the brand’s local reputation and presence.

Communication

Prepare and distribute weekly reports and communications to the home office (The BUS).

Lead daily shift meetings and regular team check-ins.


Qualifications:

3+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.

Proven leadership and team development skills.

Strong understanding of restaurant financials and P&L management.

Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

Passion for hospitality, community, and great food & beer.
