Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our signature restaurant, Azure Bar and Grill, located within our award-winning beachfront resort in the stunning Northern Rivers of NSW.

You will be responsible for the efficient operation of our restaurant where you will use your people skills to motivate and manage your team, work collaboratively with other departments, and deliver an enjoyable dining experience to our customers. You are an effective communicator and a natural leader who excels in fast-paced environments. Highly organised and adaptable, you have a genuine passion for hospitality and nurturing team growth. With a hands-on approach, you lead by example and foster a culture of support, collaboration, and service excellence.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, managing reservations; meeting and greeting guests; ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant reservation system; supporting managers and team leaders; managing stock control, labour costs, and SOPs. You will communicate new products, dishes, beverages, and daily specials to your team to ensure their product knowledge and service standards are maintained. Additionally, you will develop strong relationships with other departments and champion a team that provides support and encouragement within Food & Beverage to ensure smooth and efficient service.

To be successful, you will hold a current NSW RSA, be a strong team player, and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Skills And Experiences

Requirements

  • Preferably an Australian permanent resident with a commitment to long-term employment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Restaurant Manager
  • Current NSW RSA and driver’s licence
  • A la carte experience is essential, including exceptional service skills and knowledge
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a clear focus on quality
  • The ability to anticipate and meet guest expectations and consistently uphold high service standards
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong leadership, training, and staff management skills
  • Financial acumen across budgeting, revenue, and costing
  • High standard of grooming, presentation, and communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
