We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team! As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s operational performance and well-being. You will help train and lead staff, ensuring they reflect the restaurant’s high standards. You will also help facilitate communication between our chefs and waitstaff. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a successful restaurant.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in Organizing/Building/Managing waitstaff team
Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
Help develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events
Maintaining optimal restaurant ambiance
Adhering to company policies and standards
Outside expedition during peak/rush hour
Filling shifts as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED
Previous restaurant management experience
Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS software
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent management and leadership skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable Transportation
Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Settles Hill Banquets and Events was originally founded in 1991 by Jock Farnsworth, who had purchased 465 magnificent acres and built The Tree Farm Restaurant in Altamont, NY. After Mr. Farnsworth’s passing and subsequent closing in 2005, Carver Laraway purchased the property and renovated the restaurant into a banquet facility. In 2008, the DePasquale family, former owner of The Backgrounds Restaurant in Schenectady, NY, took over the facility and created Settles Hill Banquets & Events.
