The Restaurant Manager plays a vital leadership role in delivering the brand promise through seamless dining experiences and exceptional resort catering events. This position oversees the daily operations of the restaurant as well as assigned banquet and catering teams, ensuring consistent excellence across all guest touchpoints. Success in this role is measured by the quality of service, execution of pre-booked events, and overall guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong skills in staff supervision, guest service, and event coordination.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
Guest Experience & Brand Representation
  • Actively gather and utilize guest feedback to enhance satisfaction and build lasting guest relationships.
  • Ensure that special requests, VIP needs, and returning guest expectations are met with excellence.
  • Promote and uphold brand standards, inspiring team members to embody brand values and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead by example, modeling brand behaviors in all aspects of service and operations.
Operational Execution
  • Assist with the execution of well-defined catering strategies and programs.
  • Ensure all events are delivered on time and to a high standard, including all administrative components.
  • Support the implementation of consistent guest engagement strategies to deliver fun, immersive group experiences.
  • Partner closely with chefs and restaurant managers to maintain strong cross-functional operations.
Leadership & Team Support
  • Provide support to Restaurant Managers in food and beverage operations during the banquet off-peak season and during leadership PTO.
  • Assist in the direct oversight and management of Beverage Cart Attendants.
  • At times, support general restaurant or village operations as needed.
Business Development & Financial Management
  • Assist in developing departmental budgets and allocating resources to achieve financial targets.
  • Actively seek and develop new banquet business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals, both internally and externally.
Compliance & Vendor Relations
  • Implement established safety and security policies to protect guests, team members, and resort assets.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational, regulatory, and owner requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate, prevent and solve complex problems, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.   
  • Novice level mastery of Microsoft Office products.
  • Driving record must qualify to drive company owned vehicles.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • 2 years customer facing service/hospitality
