A breathtakingly beautiful farm is looking for a vibrant and energetic RESTAURANT MANAGER to join their team
Candidate Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Must have a tertiary qualification in Hospitality/Tourism or related field
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience working in luxury hotels/lodges
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Must be able to work weekends/evenings as well as public holidays (hospitality hours)
- Must have a valid driver's license and own transport (essential)
- Be able to manage the standards, service, quality and efficiency of the Restaurant
- Be able to liase between FOH and BOH where needed
- Must have knowledge of equipment maintenance, stock control and inventory control
- Must be have sound staff management abilities and be able to motivate and mentor diverse teams
- Must be guest-centric and will do anything to go above and beyond to exceed guests' expectations
- Must be able to perform well under pressure
- Must be fully computer literate
- Be proactive, problem-solving, and quick at making sound decisions
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident, hands-on, proactive approach, Team player
