JOB PURPOSE

Developing and implementing strategies for property-wide Operations by maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property thereby ensuring guest satisfaction. Overseeing the daily operations of the resort property. Delivering products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of customers for generating growth by increasing income, Optimizing, reducing expenses and costs, increasing productivity and staff training.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the corporate team to define and execute the MAYFAIR Group’s strategic vision and goals.
  • Assess and review customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
  • Responsible for highlighting short/medium/long-term issues related to the property to the Senior Management and helping formulate solutions.

 

Operational Leadership:

  • Ensure full compliance with Property operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Work closely with all departments, such as housekeeping, Operations, maintenance, to ensure that the property is clean, well-maintained, SOP are implemented and functioning properly.
  • Create, implement, and direct seasonally appropriate activities, special events, and programs using themed concepts for Guests and Members
  • Corporate client handling and taking part in new client acquisition along with the sales team whenever required.
  • Support in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment.
  • Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits).
  • Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations, and other legal requirements.

 

Financial Management:

  • Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, are on target and accurate
  • Manage budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that Property in is profitable.
  • Develop and implement resource and cost optimization measures to enhance profitability.

 

Team Management:

  • Ensure hiring and training of new employees, creating work schedules, and ensuring that all staff members are following MAYFAIR Group hotel policies and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performance team, fostering a sense of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement culture.
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth and encourage maximum performance and dedication.
