Private Chef- Lakewood, Colorado

A private family in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking a full-time Private Chef to prepare daily meals for the household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating nutritious, balanced, and child-friendly meals while introducing new and exciting foods to encourage healthy eating habits. The family has three young children and five dogs, so comfort working in an active household is essential. 

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family 

• Plan and execute weekly menus in alignment with family preferences and dietary needs 

• Introduce a variety of new foods, particularly for the children, to expand their palates 

• Shop for fresh, high-quality ingredients or coordinate with grocery delivery services 

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including post-meal cleanup 

• Adapt meals for allergies or dietary restrictions as needed 

• Occasionally prepare snacks or special occasion meals (e.g., birthdays, holidays) 

Qualifications: 

• Ability to plan creative, balanced menus that meet the family’s dietary preferences 

• Comfortable working in a home with young children and multiple pets 

• Excellent organizational and time management skills 

• Excellent, verifiable references 

Schedule: 

• Full-time, Monday through Friday  

Salary: 

• $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
