We are seeking a skilled and health-conscious Private Chef to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a single client in Soho, NYC. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare a variety of fresh, flavorful, and gluten-free meals, accommodating a shellfish allergy. The chef should also be comfortable cooking for occasional guests and small groups, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare gluten-free meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for a single client
Accommodate dietary restrictions, including a shellfish allergy
Maintain a rotating menu of healthy and creative dishes
Shop for fresh, high-quality ingredients
Prepare meals for 1–2 guests daily, with occasional service for larger gatherings
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Adapt to the client’s tastes and preferences over time
Requirements and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of gluten-free and health-conscious cooking
Familiarity with food allergies and safe food handling practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Discretion and professionalism in a private home environment
Excellent, verifiable references
