As Pastry Chef, we rely on you to:
- Design, create, and prepare a wide range of desserts, pastries, and cakes for daily service and special occasions.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal dessert menus that showcase creativity and align with the resorts brand standards.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portion control across all pastry items.
- Oversee daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service.
- Lead, train, and supervise the pastry team to achieve consistent quality and creativity.
-Collaborate with the Culinary and F&B departments to ensure smooth coordination for banquets and events.
- Conduct regular inspections and provide training on hygiene and presentation standards.
We are looking for someone who:
- Diploma or degree in Pastry Arts / Culinary Arts from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and hygiene standards.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar position in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
- Strong knowledge of modern dessert trends, plated desserts, and artistic pastry decoration.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about presentation and flavor.
- Good command of the English language.
