Pastry Chef | 2 AA Rosette Country House Hotel – Broadway, Cotswolds (WR12)

Location: Broadway, Worcestershire
Salary: £38,000–£39,000 + approx. £3,000 in tips
Schedule: 4.5 days/week (5 during peak periods)
Accommodation: Live-in available
Holiday: 28 days annual leave

About the Role

Join a highly regarded country house hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds, known for its seasonal menus, outstanding service, and a dedicated 2 AA Rosette kitchen. We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to take ownership of the pastry section and contribute to an evolving fine dining offering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the pastry section day-to-day

  • Create and execute a variety of plated desserts, afternoon teas, breads, and viennoiserie

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on new seasonal pastry concepts

  • Ensure consistency and quality across all pastry offerings

  • Train and develop junior team members

  • Support general kitchen operations where needed

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in rosette-level or fine dining pastry kitchens

  • Previous experience in a similar Pastry Chef or senior pastry role

  • High-level pastry skills and strong attention to detail

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen

  • Multi-skilled across various kitchen sections is advantageous

  • A strong communicator and team player with a calm, professional approach
