We are a busy Catering Company in the Denver Metro Area looking for a Pastry Chef to join our team!
Overall Description: The Pastry Chef will have a variety of duties and responsibilities to perform in the kitchen. You’ll be assisting the Executive Pastry Chef in preparing the desserts, maintaining a clean and safe cooking environment, and taking on culinary tasks as they arise. This position requires physical and mental endurance as well as a flexible work schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
Covering the Executive Pastry Chef's needs and responsibilities as well as the Pastry Cook's production in their absence
Creating enticing confectionery decorations and delicious pastry fillings, as well as keeping abreast of new pastry baking techniques
Amazing decorating skills is a must
Following the prep sheets created by Prep Sheet Creator
Label and stock ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible; ensure all food and other items are stored and dated properly
Clean and sanitize working surfaces, tools, utensils, and working area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000 to $65,000 per year (overtime exempt)
