What You’ll Do:
Lead pastry production across multiple ALife concepts
Design and execute innovative desserts and baked goods
Collaborate with Culinary Director and ownership on dessert menus and seasonal offerings
Manage pastry inventory and ordering of ingredients
Maintain high standards of presentation, flavor, and quality
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards are upheld in all pastry prep areas
Train and mentor pastry staff or designated team members on techniques and consistency
Monitor food cost and minimize waste through efficient prep and portioning
Stay current on dessert trends, techniques, and plating styles to keep offerings fresh and exciting

What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of professional pastry or baking experience in a high-volume restaurant, bakery, or hospitality environment
Exceptional knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques
Experience designing and executing plated desserts and specialty baked goods
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and multitask in a fast-paced kitchen
Understanding of food safety and sanitation best practices
Strong organizational and creative skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Culinary or pastry certification preferred but not required
