Responsibilities<\/b>

• Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and specialty items using both traditional and innovative techniques.

• Ensure all ingredients meet quality and safety standards, with special attention to freshness, sourcing, and proper handling of dairy (e.g., milk) and other key components.

• Maintain strict compliance with food safety standards and hygiene protocols in all aspects of preparation, storage, and service.
  <\/li>
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting recipe enhancements, cost\-saving measures, and operational efficiencies.

• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and minimizing waste.
  <\/li>
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on techniques, safety, and presentation.
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Front\-of\-House team to align pastry offerings with menu themes and guest preferences.
  <\/li>
• Design and execute visually appealing dessert plating and presentation that enhance the overall dining experience.

• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times, including regular cleaning and equipment maintenance.

• Respond promptly to daily operational demands and support special events, banquets, and seasonal menu launches.

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • 1–3 years of proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a high\-volume hospitality or restaurant environment.
    <\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and compliance with local health regulations.
    <\/li>
  • Proficiency in preparing a wide range of pastries, cakes, breads, confections, and dessert items, including international and regional specialties.
    <\/li>
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and create unique, marketable dessert concepts that align with current culinary trends.
    <\/li>
  • Solid understanding of basic baking principles, ingredient functionality, and recipe scaling.
    <\/li>
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration across departments.
    <\/li>
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced kitchen environment with minimal supervision.
    <\/li>
  • Valid work permit and eligibility to work in the UAE (Filipino or Nepalese nationality preferred).
    <\/li>
  • Willingness to join immediately and commit to a full\-time role in Al Ain.
