Part Time Pastry Chef

JAX Cooking Studio in Jacksonville, FL, is looking for a part-time pastry chef to teach pastry and cake decorating classes to adults and children. We are searching for a reliable chef with a fun-loving personality who is able to explain culinary concept in an easy-to-understand way.

Pastry chefs may also serve as sous chefs in our savory classes.

There is an opportunity to teach savory classes, too, if qualified /desired.

Daily shifts vary and may begin as early as 7am or end as late as 10pm.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or significant work experience
• Experience with or desire to work with children (birthday parties and summer camps)
• Strong interpersonal skills--embracing a culture of teamwork and respect
• Serv-Safe Food Manager or Food Handler certificate, or ability to obtain
